Only one test left, a bone marrow biopsy, plus the consultation for the insertion of the Hickman Line, both scheduled for tomorrow, and Edie will be on her way towards the completion of an autologous stem cell transplant, tentatively scheduled to begin October 10th.
We've even received a schedule from the transplant coordinator at the City of Hope, and barring any surprises, Edie should be back home the beginning of November, as good as new.
[BIG SIGH] This is surely going to be the longest two months of my life.

Comments
John has his procedure tomorrow and hopefully he can stop worrying.
Give Edie my best. And you know us women, we're way tougher than you guys when it comes to pain. And she lives with you so she has a strong tolerance built up already. :-)
Hope all goes well, Becky

With Edie gone who is going to cook for you?
I guess I'll be doing a lot of fending for myself.
