Well this morning we are blessed with clear skies, and an expected high temperature of about 69°F, for our trip to Greymouth today. Just about perfect.
Tomorrow we were planning to drive over the mountains to the east coast, but have learned about the Trans Alpine train which travels over the mountains from Greymouth to Christchurch.
That seems more preferable than driving, considering the roads we've encountered so far. The only problem is seeing if we can drop the car off in Greymouth, and pick up another in Christchurch.
